Donna and Richard Hare

Since December 2015, Richard and I have had the joy of sharing our home with guests from near and far. We love welcoming new faces, hearing their stories, and then giving them the space to relax and unwind at their own pace.

 

Nestled in the peaceful Wimberley Hills, our home is a haven we cherish deeply. We’re surrounded by nature—graceful deer wander through the property, and dear friends drop by often. Life here moves gently, with time for family, laughter, and quiet moments. We treasure visits from our children, grandchildren, and our beloved dogs (and grand-dogs!), and we’re always eager to share this special place with others.

 

Richard is a retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel, and I’m a retired private investigator. These days, we share our home with two friendly dogs and one affectionate cat who love greeting guests as much as we do. While we’re always happy to chat, offer local tips, light a campfire, or help with directions, we also respect your need for privacy and solitude.

 

We live downstairs on the first floor and are here to ensure your stay in Wimberley is as relaxing and memorable as possible. Whether you're seeking connection or quiet, we’re honored to host you in our little slice of Hill Country paradise.
